Leicester Anglican Cursillo's 21st Birthday.

2015 is the 21st year of cursillo in Leicestershire.

A celebration will take place in our Cathedral on Saturday 20th June. Bishop Christopher will preside at a special Eucharist at 2pm when the Preacher will be Revd Hugh Burgess, our National Spiritual Director. We are hoping for a massive attendance by Cursillistas and families from the diocese and from other Cursillo dioceses too.

We also have the sole use of the Cathedral Gardens from Midday for a picnic.

What Is Cursillo?

  • Cursillo is a method of supporting and encouraging our lives as Christians.
  • Cursillo (pronounced "kur-see-yo") is a Spanish word meaning "short course."
  • Cursillo in any diocese begins and continues with the blessing of the diocesan Bishop.
